How to claim warranty
- Share details on WhatsApp — send a photo of the defective unit, GST invoice and short note describing the issue to +91 94447 29197.
- We confirm coverage — our team checks brand, period and failure type within 2 working hours.
- Return the unit — drop at Sowcarpet counter or courier back. For Chennai we can arrange pickup via Porter at actuals.
- Inspection or instant swap — Anchor / Panasonic and ZIP modular items are swapped over the counter from live stock when available. Altech MCB and LED drivers go for brand inspection.
- Replacement issued — instant swap items same day. Inspection-based replacement in 3–5 working days. Fresh invoice and fresh warranty start-date issued.

Frequently asked
I don't have the original packing — can I still claim?
Yes for Anchor, Panasonic and ZIP modular products. GST invoice is mandatory. For LED panels please return the driver box with the unit.
My electrician installed the switch wrongly and it burnt — covered?
No. Installation-time damage and wrong connection burns are not covered by brand warranty. Always use a licensed electrician and follow the rated load.
What about warranty on items bought 3 years ago?
Anchor by Panasonic switches and MCB carry 2-year warranty from date of sale. Beyond that we can arrange paid service via the brand authorised service centre — share the invoice and we will coordinate.
Can I claim warranty if I bought online from another vendor?
Claim goes back to the original seller. If you purchased from Santosh Electricals (invoice in our name) we will handle it end-to-end.
